Quick Answer

Each Wind Gem adds one Wind Dash to Holy Sword Endu; its guard has five Wind Gem sockets. You start with one, and there are five in total. The first three locations are below; the fourth is in Deimpo Mausoleum and the fifth is in the Ancient World.

Where are the Wind Gems?

You get the first with Holy Sword Endu, the second above the early save points, and the third in Obmuer Temple.

First Wind Gem

You receive your first Wind Gem already fitted to Holy Sword Endu. Defeat the Shrine Guardian, then take the sword. This gives you the Wind Dash needed to begin reaching new areas through the air.

Second Wind Gem

You reach the second gem by climbing from the higher save point.

Reach the higher save point

Return to the first save point and head uphill. Wind Dash across, then loop around to the second save point higher up.

Cross from the pillars

Climb the rocks between the pillars near that second save point. Fly across from there to collect the second Wind Gem.

You now have two air dashes, enough to cross the broken bridge to the west. If that crossing stopped you earlier, collect this gem before trying it again.

Third Wind Gem

You find the third gem in Obmuer Temple, near the skeleton ambush and second Trident Key.

Reach the temple's second save point

Drop into the watery area near the entrance to find the first Trident Key. Use that key to continue to the second save point.

Enter the opening below

From the second save point, Wind Dash toward the wall opening down inside the large pit. The third Wind Gem is in the area where skeletons ambush you, alongside the second Trident Key.

With three gems, you have three air dashes and can cross the large pit near the save point.

Fourth Wind Gem

You find it in the Deimpo Mausoleum. Follow the high route with the moving platforms and look for a pale diamond-shaped gem floating on a stone platform between carved pillars. One player describes it in a large room with two tombstones below.

Fifth Wind Gem

You find it in the Ancient World. Players report it inside a cavern shrine, also called the fifth wind temple. Exact directions are still being added.

How many Wind Gems are there?

There are five, and recovering them all unlocks the Feel the Wind achievement.

One gem remains in the sword when you first obtain it. Exact routes to the fourth and fifth are still being added.

What does each Wind Gem do?

Each Wind Gem adds one more Wind Dash, letting you travel farther through the air.

Your starting gem gives you one dash. The second gives you two, and the third gives you three. Those extra dashes open the western broken bridge and the large pit crossing in Obmuer Temple, respectively.

Use the gem count to judge those crossings before attempting them again. For other equipment routes, see the Queen's Domain weapons guide.

Is the Storm Gem another Wind Gem?

The Storm Gem is a separate gem, with its own socket alongside the five Wind Gem sockets.

Keep it separate from your Wind Gem count when checking your air dashes. See the Storm Gem guide for that gem.
