How do you get and use the Dagger Belt?
You get your early throwing knives by following the beach route to a small island, then equipping them.
Reach the beach island
Follow the route toward the beach and cross the small island to find the throwing knives.
Equip your throwing knives
Equip them before moving on. You can use their ranged attack without saving every throw, because the knives return after reloading.
Open the ruins switches
Hit the ruins switch with a throwing knife to open a shortcut back toward the starting area. This gives you a quicker return to the Crystal Monument for healing and saving.

Your equipped throwing weapons recharge over time, including equipped weapons that are not currently active.
You can equip up to three different throwing weapons. Their charges appear at the top-left of your screen, and recharge rates differ between weapons.
Finding a new type typically gives you one charge. You can increase available charges through additional pickups or shop purchases.
Discovering a new type adds corresponding charges to the shop, regardless of your Duck Statue level. Automatic recharge means throwing weapons are not permanently consumed with each attack.
When should you use each throwing weapon?
Use throwing knives for early ranged attacks and ruins switches, then choose other weapons for their specific effects.
You can use the Occult Knife's homing effect against enemies and the Piercing Needle's penetration against multiple targets. Choose the Chakram when you want its boomerang return, or the Throwing Axe for Slash + Impact damage.
After defeating the Necronomicon, you can enhance the Throwing Dagger with Acid. This lets you destroy flesh faces and clean up the Tower of Knowledge.
