How do you light the gargoyles and beacons?
You use the Azure Torch to light three gargoyle statues along the following route.
Reach the first gargoyle above the broken stairs
Return to the first save point, head uphill, and wind dash around to the higher, second save point. Climb the rocks between the pillars and reach the second wind gem for an extra air dash.
Back at the pillars, jump up to the small blue lantern. Dash across to the broken stairway. Defeat the skeletons at the top, then light the first gargoyle with the Azure Torch. A bell rings above you.
Find the second gargoyle north of the elevator
Reach the higher ground above the first save point, near the route toward the second save point. You will find an elevator leading back to ground level.
Circle north from the elevator to reach another gargoyle beside a locked gate. Light this gargoyle with the torch. You cannot deal with the locked gate yet.
Light the third gargoyle after Dagoom
Defeat Dagoom the Sea King, then leave the dungeon. You will find the third gargoyle on the way out. Light it with the Azure Torch.
A nearby fast travel point returns you to the starting area, near the second gargoyle and locked gate.
What happens after you light all three beacons?
You unseal the Tower of Knowledge once all three beacons burn and the bell has rung three times.
